Milena Aspra-Ceron

Milena Aspra-Ceron (Alias Dove Beauregard on all her socials) is a singer-songwriter, occasional actress, and poet. She started writing as a kid and eventually found her passion of composition through guitar playing and singing. She hopes one day to be able to write an impactful album and to create the most beautiful lyrics possible. 

Lily Assadi

Lily Assadi is in the 8th grade. She has electives of Choir, Theatre, and Dance. She wants to be an actress and one of her monologues is featured in this book. She hopes you enjoy this book and that its stories impact your life like they impacted hers.

Zuri Bryson

Zuri Bryson is a junior who has a strong passion for directing, filmmaking, policy and activism. She has hopes of attending film school and going on to be a director for the stage and screen.

Addison Caesar

Addison Caesar is a sophomore. A dedicated dancer, she has earned multiple awards in competitive dance, reflecting her passion and skill. Addison is an active leader, serving as the 2024-2025 Community Chair for the South Belt Houston Chapter of Jack and Jill of America and as the 2024-2025 Parliamentarian of the Urban Conservation Club. She previously held the role of Treasurer for the 2023-2024 Southwest Florida Chapter of Jack and Jill of America. Outside of leadership roles, Addison enjoys dancing and expressing herself through art. With aspirations of becoming a CRNA, Addison is committed to her studies and is actively seeking opportunities to learn more about the field and its opportunities.

Sarai El Amin-Williams

Sarai El Amin-Williams loves to create ceramics and dedicate her time to Future Farmers of America!

Kaitlyn Gilbert

Kaitlyn Gilbert is in the 7th grade. She enjoys writing, reading, and supporting her sister, Lillian Gilbert, in everything she does.

Lillian Gilbert (publisher) is in the 11th grade. She loves reading, acting, and giving back to her community. She founded a club called the Urban Conservation Club which focuses on conserving native Texas wildflowers and educating the youth! She hopes you enjoy the book and feel empowered!

Elizabeth Kennedy Ellison (Jones)

Elizabeth Kennedy Ellison (Jones) is soaring with her work in the community and extracurricular activities. Elizabeth is a highly regarded, stellar 8th grade, all A Honor Roll Student. She is an avid reader and loves English Language Arts. In addition to her outstanding academic achievements, Elizabeth is the secretary of the National Beta Junior Club, an appointed student ambassador, an esteemed Golden Knight chess player, and a vibrant Captain on her school’s Cheer Squad. She is also a member of the HCDP (Houston Cheer and Dance Palace) competitive cheerleading team. 

Kaylee Mitchell

Kaylee Mitchell is in 8th grade. She has a strong passion for writing, playing volleyball, and traveling to other countries to learn more about the world. Kaylee also enjoys volunteering in her community and spending time with family and friends. She views writing as a true form of expression and hopes to inspire confidence and self-belief in young teens through her words.

Kashvi Nandagiri is a freshman. She loves to write and express her emotions through poetry. She is so grateful for this opportunity to add her work for the Stories of Tomorrow Project. She hopes you enjoy!

Hannah Rogers

Hannah Rogers is a Junior. She is an All A honor roll student and is a member of her school’s National Honor Society and Music Honor Society. She is also the Vice President of her school’s African American Culture Club. Hannah enjoys volunteering and giving back to her community. She enjoys writing and hopes that her story can impact others..

Briana Sonnier is a Senior with an amazing future and talent for both writing her own material and performing. She’s an advocate for those who don’t have a voice in her community.

Gracie Upadhyay

Gracie Upadhyay is a 7th grader. She enjoys spending time with family and friends. Additionally, she finds enjoyment in writing.

Makalia Ingram is a freshman. She plays club volleyball, she loves to hang out with her friends and family, and she enjoys assisting people when needed.

Ava Williams

Ava Williams is in the 11th grade. She has a deep passion for God and a heart full of love. Ava finds true joy in helping others—especially those who feel deeply, just like she does.Though she often feels misunderstood, she carries a heart that is genuine, caring, and full of compassion. She lives by the belief that her life is divinely guided, trusting in God's perfect plan for her journey. As Jeremiah 29:11 reminds her: "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
