Hey everyone! My name is Lillian, and I am the publisher of The Stories of Tomorrow and the creator/manager of this website! This project was inspired by my love for reading and creativity. I am an actress at heart and hope to pursue a professional acting career in film when I’m older.

This project originally began as my Gold Award initiative, where I aimed to address low literacy rates in my city and the global decline in teen interest in creative writing. I wanted to show teenage girls that there are meaningful avenues for self-expression beyond social media—ways that not only allow them to share their thoughts, fears, and aspirations with the world but also help them process and navigate the challenges of girlhood and growing up.

 

As part of this project, I hosted a five-session writing workshop with 22 diverse teen girls, guiding them in crafting their own stories. The result? A published anthology featuring 30+ short stories and poems—a book designed for readers of all ages and backgrounds.

Realizing the impact of this initiative, I decided to expand beyond my Gold Award to continue uplifting young voices through storytelling. My vision is to help my generation heal and express themselves through poetry and short stories while providing them the opportunity to become published authors.
